Children / Awana Ministry

Pre-school through 6th Grade on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings during the school year

Sunday mornings 9:00 AM

Sunday During the school year we offer Sunday School for children preschool through 6th grade. It starts at 9:00 with all the students gathered for singing a few songs. After the opening, your child will go to their individual class for a time of creative and life-changing Bible learning. At 10:00 they are dismissed to join you for worship.

Wednesday Evenings 5:00 PM

We also offer the Awana Club for your children on Wednesday nights. Awana is a time-tested club program that engages your child with games, Bible memorization and learning activities along with a short worship and devotion time. At 5:00 we serve supper (no cost, but a $1 donation is appreciated to defray expenses). Club starts at 5:30 pm and ends at 7:15 pm.

Youth Ministry

7th - 12th Grade on Wednesday evenings during the school year

Wednesday Evenings 6:30 PM

Our goal is to help our students become true disciples of Jesus Christ by building relationships and teaching them God’s Word.

District Blitz Student Conference

This annual North Central District student ministries conference includes rallies, seminars/workshops, breakout times, and service projects. The purpose is to provide a conference that challenges students to love God, love one another, and love the lost. 
This year's conference will be Arise - the Book of Jonah. It will be held in Duluth April 17th - 19th, 2026. More info here!

Deeper Life Bible Camp

Owned and operated by EFCA churches of Northern Minnesota, Deeper Life Bible Camp is a summer camp where relationships are made, lives are changed, and God is honored. Offering camps for children and youth from 1st grade through post-high school. 

Community Involvement

BEFC Serving the Blackduck area Community
Blackduck Food Shelf. BEFC hosts the Blackduck Food Shelf which, in cooperation with other area churches and community members, strives to meet the needs of the Blackduck area. 
Blackduck Food Shelf open once each month on the 4th Tuesday from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at BEFC.
Community Meals. BEFC hosts the Blackduck Community Meal on the 2nd Monday of the month 5:00 - 6:30 PM during the school year. Other Mondays are hosted by other area churches.
Sewing / Craft Group. BEFC hosts a twice monthly meeting of a group of talented ladies who gather to make quilts and other items which are donated to the Northwoods Pregnancy Center among other places.

Missions

BEFC is a Great Commission church supporting missions and missionaries both local and international, from here in Beltrami County to France, from Alaska to Africa. BEFC is a strong supporter of the Northwoods Pregnancy Center, Deeper Life Bible Camp, Northwoods Caregivers, and Love Cradle International supporting Ukrainian refugees.
