Happy Friday church family!
It’s nearing the end of another week – like most weeks, there were high points and low points. I had a mystery person or persons plow our driveway Sunday while we were at church – gotta love northern Minnesota! That was a high point for sure. I was also reminded through a few meetings I had this week that we all need folks we can share with and turn to for prayer and support. That’s one of the roles of the church – that we can be there for each other.
And it may be because I’m giving a message about the Bible Sunday, but I’ve been reminded time and again this week how critical it is for us to have a good biblical foundation. The world bombards us, telling us how to believe, what to think, what to feel, what is right and wrong – it is even getting more and more difficult to know what is and what is not real - but we do know the One who IS the Truth, and He’s revealed truth to us in His Word. So delight in His Word and let it guide you in all things.
-- In faith, Pastor Eric
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:14-17 ESV
