Happy Friday Church Family!

Happy New Year! It is 2026 and I am excited about what this year has in store! Youth group fundraiser dinner in February for the district conference in Duluth in April! Camp season will be starting shortly thereafter, and our 100th anniversary celebration at the end of June – a lot to look forward to in the next six months!

I’m also excited to be started a new sermon series this week, focusing on our Free Church foundations for the next two months. We will look at topics such as membership and baptism, and be teaching through our vision statement as well. We’ll be firming up who we are as we enter into the second century of the life of the Free Church. I am praying it’ll be a good exploration and reminder for all of us!

I pray for us all that in this new year we are already drawing closer to God, deeper in our relationship with Him, and looking more and more like Jesus. Please join me in praying for us for this year that it would be a year of believers growing and lives transformed by God’s grace. Let us pray that we will have a great impact in Blackduck and surrounding areas and that we would take every opportunity God gives us to be His hands and feet. May you be blessed!

-- In faith, Pastor Eric

1 Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory. Colossians 3:1-4 NASB2020
